Maple Park?Kaneland High School student-athlete Nathan Dyer was selected by ?Down Under Sports? to represent the state of Illinois and compete in a track-and-field competition next June in Australia.
To help raise funds for his trip, there will be an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the American Legion Post No. 312, 203 Main St., Maple Park. Tickets cost $7 at the door.
